In your base, ignoring your logic.

Yes, it gets a lot better after you leave florence for the first time.

It takes some time to settle in properly but after the somewhat long prologue it really does well.

yeah I was thinking the same thing when I first played it. The prologue part is incredibly dull, but its a useful tutorial. And just wait, soon enough you will be ninja-ing your way around shanking dudes and generally being a tremendous BAMF

Yea, Im getting into the killing and whatnot alot more now. I have to say its getting better. And the mechanices for scaling buildings and such is just insane. I never played the first so I had no clue what to expect. Serious Im blown away with how you can move through the environment

Yeah, I got it for my birthday about a fortnight ago, it starts off REALLY slowly, but after you find the assassin's robes it picks up a bit, then slows down again, before speeding up again after you leave florence.

Yap, its gotten pretty good now. The sucky part is, Ill have to take it back before seeing what the deal is with everything. Probably going to rent it again, its getting good. And man, it makes you feel like a serious badass ninja killing people. I just rip through crowds of guards, its awesome lol

I'll have to give the first one credit for the way it handles fights vs multiple opponents though. AC2 just has the dudes basically line up for you so you never really need any of those bad ass countermoves you learn whereas in AC1 the soldiers/guards have no qualms of striking you in the back if you present them with an opportunity.

AC3 is going to have Ezio as the main character again, I'm curious as to what they'll do. Or is it simply that they're building out those DLC parts that were supposed to come out (Bonfire of the Vanities and the one that takes place in that soggy city before Venice) and calling it a new game?

I think the game became the most fun after I mastered stealing the gaurds weapons and using them. Its just a blast to steal a spear from somebody and skewer him with it as he tries to run for it.

The greater good needs some moo.

That sure is fun. Unfortunately taking a very fast weapon (sword or dagger) and battering the guard in front of you works in almost all situations as well.
