I let them shoot 360 as long as they can see the target.

You count them as however you have mounted them on the vehicle. I would say they can see 360* as well.

I'll agree with the other guys, 360 degree field of view because they actually hang under the vehicle.

They count as passengers.

They have effectively a 360 degree field of view.

In any case where the view was marginally obscured, you could just pivot the vehicle a bit to get both drones onto the same target.

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Kilkrazy...

You cant pivot a vehicle during the shooting phase.

You would do it during the movement phase, as you consider the shots you are going to take in the shooting phase.

Which is why you should be checking the LOS for vehicle weapons in the movement phase...

Some people would claim that to be premeasuring, but i know what you mean, i used to have to deal with a guard player who pivoted his basilisk in the shooting phase cause he applied the infanty pivoting to aim rules.

Or he was remembering 4th ed, when you could pivot in the shooting phase.

Some people might argue that the point of movement is to put your units in the best position to attack the enemy.

It's not hard to look at the table to see if your unit's guns are masked.

Pre-measuring is using a tape measure to check the range before you declare a target.

Checking line of sight is not pre-measuring.

Moving without checking LOS from where you're moving to is a very poor idea.
