I plan on starting Necromunda again. I have three gangs that I would like to play, but I have been away from the game for a decade at least. I would like to list the three gangs I am thinking about playing and the possible names. I am more interested in the story and having fun than winning at all costs.

I was thinking about dropping a ratskin in order to give all the ratskins pistols. Once again I am looking for names for the gangers.

My last thought was an Orlock gang called the Predators with all the names coming from the Predator movies, like Dutch, Dillon, and Billy. However, I think another guy already has that theme.

For the Ratskins, you could look at traditional native american tribe names, mixed with modern nouns ie Dripping pipe, Rusty blade, Blackknife etc. As for giving Braves Autopistols, my my your generous. I'd give 'em stubguns, and use the cash saved along with ditching another ratskin to fund the pistols for the Autogun armed ratskins. The lasgun armed ratkins have a good ammo roll. If they fail that then unlucky.

For the Escher girlies, it depends on what theme you have for them. You could go cute ie Candy,Melody Jennifer etc (ugh). You could go tough ie Vasquez, Butch Lizzy, Harley Quinn etc (Some nice chequed skirts and clown face paint would be mega) For a hard girlie theme you could look up 'Angelspit' on google. Or look at Pesphonee 66's P+M blog on her Angelspit themed CSM army.

The Star wars name generator coughs up a few gems.

Thanks for the advice. I really like the clown face paint for the TnA girls. I was thinking face paint on the Delaque too, like the Crow. Now if I had the talent to back it up. I think I still have all my old gangs laying around somewhere, so maybe I can find those old ratskin names again. They went with that theme.

I only thought of them, because I have those models and I liked the Predator themed names. Besides in the movies they all die anyway.

I've been experimenting with the clown face paint on some old IG models. But they're easier to paint as their faces are bigger than Escher faces. But I'll have a go and I'll post a pic on my thread for you to see.

As for the 'Predator' theme, why don't you get a Predator hunter for your gang as a heavy or a good CC ganger. Or use him for a themed scenario (Scavengers 'Monster' table chart comes to mind)

I was thinking of painting there faces white and exaggerating their makeup. Haven't looked at them in a while, so not sure if I can handle that much detail.

I am hoping to get my school work done enough to get to the store Friday for a game. I will probably just go with the Delaque. The other two guys were playing Orlocks and Escher.

Yeah it is a sweet model. I have brought one and I'm still waiting for him to arrive,should be next week.

Well I had success and failure today at the LGS. I got to play, that was a success. However, I forgot to keep track of everything that happened. I ended up going with the Ghosts and he played orlocks (didn't get any of their names )

The highlights were the heavies. The first turn my heavy caught his heavy stubber on the top rung of the ladder and fell 2 levels. I guess he was hurt worse than he thought, because after crawling around for 4 turns he finally stopped moving. Forever. His heavy fortunately didn't die, but he did forget which way to point his rocket launcher. His first shot landed 6" behind him. His next shot landed about an inch from taking out his leader, ganger, and a juve. He never hit anything all game. In fact, when his other heavy ran out of ammo for his heavy stubber, he ran over to help the other heavy aim. I ended up winning that gang fight, but lost my heavy and a ganger. One of my juves got captured too.

The next game I was able to rescue my juve, but he sent me packing. He had worked my juve over pretty bad, because he might not be able to fight if his old battle wounds act up. It must have happened when the frag rocket fell out of the launcher on my two juves. That is the only way his heavy could have hit anyone.

All in all, it was a good time.

Its good to get dust out the cobwebs after not playing for so long.

Losing your heavy is a bit of a blow and its hard to re-hire one without some serious creds. If you are playing a campaign I'd make getting a heavy a priority.

Ahh tough news, losing your heavy. I hav no game experiance as of yet, but ive gathered that heavy weapons tend to be vital. Maybe a juve will get good with a heavy weapon? Hope it works out for you.

Yeah man for me and my friend heavy weapons seem to be the linch pin for us most of the time.

Yea that sucked. Such an unglorious death too, falling while running. Fortunately, I had two heavies, but the second only has a flamer. If I didn't lose at the gambling den the first time I might have been close enough to get a replacement one. As it was, after the rescue, I was able to buy a new ganger to replace the other ganger I had lost. Now I only have 5 credits. Hopefully I get another chance to play again soon.

5 creds....hmm you have you work cut out,but at least you have another heavy. You'll have to make do until he gains 'Weaponsmith' or you afford a bigger weapon. But saying that,Flamers are awesome bits of kit.
