Devastating Dark Reaper

Hey dakka, long time no post...
ive recently (3 months ago) have ceased my (futile) attempts on painting all my eldar and have looked towards fantasy. Now out of the choices of Vampire Counts and Dark Elves i ended up going for Vampire counts...
now over these 3 long months i have in total smashed and drowned 5 zombies, 1 skelenton and 1 vampire together and have a winged lord pitch black. So i decided (to get me moving XD) that i would post up where i have gotten at the end of each week and would be open to comments and criticism (like telling me to hurry the **** up XP)
my skills aint that great but i am improving and believe that my VC's are fairly good XS
anyway... where i am so far. these pictures were taken over 2 weeks ago and i have made changes since then. they'll be nxt time (nxt post)

hopefully this one worked... its a test since it says my comment is too long ??? WTF?!?
anyway... if it does work then this is my first skeleton, done with a base coat of black then bleached bone and this guy was my paint basher... are multiple washes and highlights i am happy with the outcome. his shield and cloth are in the army colors or black and deep red, and my symbol is going to be a red skull with black tears.

anyway... im gonna see it i can submit this and if i can then ill put the others on the nxt post.

I see that one. Nice and grimy bones, but i'm not usually a fan of blood on weapons like that - a bit tacky, a bit too red

ok... im gonna do this the IM ANGRY way... XP

alrighty... that was my first skeleton but not my first mini for fantasy.

the first zombie who i am naming Fred, was my first fantasy model painted, it took me 6 hrs and i felt so damn good about finishing when i did... he is over 20 layers of coats/highlights/washes and is my #1 zombie for painting

My first Rank in Warhammer fantasy is of 5 zombies... a measly 20 points XD and overall i probs put in 2 days... im getting quicker, doing batch jobs compared to singles but im getting there... as you can see fred is the less bloody one as the more i did the more blood i splashed everywhere...

then there are some more close ups of ze zombies...

Vampire #1 is an old corsairs? model i dunno but i loved the gaunt look on his face... originally he was gonna be a banner bearer but i have recently ripped his arm off and replaced it (comin later)

the following is his cloak (if it works )

This is my winged vampire lord, who has had a simple head swap with a necron. Im saying that it is a mask and have greenstuffed hair comin out the back of the mask and down his back

fingers crossed this works and hope you enjoy it... ill be posting another tonight if this one works :@ and its more recent
