Hey all ,what are some of the quickest ways to get a khorne themed army ready and rollin'?

I definitely need some beserkers and related (plus some custom cultists if rules allow!)

Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks

Khorne Berserkers. Lather, rinse, repeat. They're the only cult troop for Khorne. You can always give a unit the Mark of Khorne, but they only get +1 attack or so, instead of getting the other benefits Berserkers have for less point - WS5, furious charge, fearless, etc.

You can also give a daemon prince and/or Chaos Lord the Mark of Khorne, but the Lord's Daemon Weapon is suicidal - you get 2d6 extra attacks, but if you roll a 1 you don't attack and just hurt yourself.

Regrettably there are no cultist rules, as much as I wish there were. You could try something with Lesser Daemons (who can't even be given a mark, which sucks) but even then, that's just proxying.

An all-Khorne army is basically just Berserkers in Rhinos. That's regrettably it.

If you do want to have a Khorne army, make defilers to look like Brass Scorpions.

I run an "all khorne" army, so essentially:

Bezerkers, units of 8, rhino, havo launcher. With a power weapon champ thats about 250 points.

Daemon Prince, mok, wings - 140. Worst DP in the game, but fairly cheap and expendable - great distraction. Fluff wise dont have two, as they would never work together, but if you want to go for it

Some obliterators (IW and Bezerkers work together on occasion) are just about fluffym, and pretty damn essential if you want some abiltiy to crack vehicles at range.

Khorne marked terminators are ok, gives you an extra attack but terminators arent that great in combat anyway - a bit fragile really. And annoyingly they tend to run away rather easily, as we no longer get fearless terminators.

There are a lot of "Khorne" armies using the space wolf codex. Thats about as close to making it fluffy a you can.

Probably Nurgle, Africa has the lock on that.

This is how I made my "Codex World Eaters"...

Lord Zhufor (or any other name you wanna come up with) - Logan Grimnar.
The model is carrying a Storm Bolter, a massive axe and a power fist. The model really suits the rules and helps us out with the list.

Scyrak The Slaughterer - Ragnar.
An old school character, perfectly represented by Ragnar's rules.

Lord of Khorne - Wolf Lord.
Exalted Champion of Khorne - WGBL.

Skull Champion - Lone Wolf.
There are legends of lone Khornate warriors whose lust for battle is so great, it cannot be satisfied.

Berzerkers - Wolf Guard.
This is why we take Zhufor/Logan, for the use of these guys as troops. You can even have a Zerker Terminator unit as a troops choice. They make better zerkers than Blood Claws too.

Blood Savages - Blood Claws.
These represent the slightly more unhinged zerkers that forgoe skill and precision in favour of sheer brutality.

Blood Savage Bikers - BC Bikers.
Don't take the attack bike if you want to be fluffy.

Blood Raptors - Skyclaws.

Juggernaut Cavalry - TWC.

Flesh Hounds - Fenrisian Wolves.

Vindicator - See Codex.

Land Raider - See Codex.

Death Claw Assault Pod - Drop Pod.

Rhino - See Codex.

It's a fluffy list that actually works really well on the tabletop.

You'll have to make sure that your opponent knows what you are playing and you'll have to model all the troops as World Eaters or something equal to it, but hell, that aint difficult.

Yea... bland CSM but true or flavorful SW but count as, always a hard choice.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

...I'm gonna guess it's up to the TO.
I mean, if it's WYSIWYG it should be all good... but you have to be clear with your opponent what you are running.

I'm sure some TO's are opposed to extreme count as if it's just too confusing even after a brief explanation from the owner.

In general, for best results follow KISS, Keep It Simple S(illy)...

Or you can just tell them that you are playing a SW spin off chapter because you prefer your colors. The fact that they fell to Chaos is just fluff and the TO (or any opponents for that matter) shouldn't get in your face about it; they have no ground to stand on in the argument. Just represent your equipment and characters and your in the clear.

Why has no one suggested Bloodletters? I assumed it was a typo on the GW website but did they really take away the 4++ save?

I'd take Berzerker units mounted in Rhinos and Land Raiders and add some Dreads, Vindicators, or Predators for fire support.

You are tempting me radio hazard.. to make an army based of your list..

@computer geek.. Bloodletters no longer exist. The barn in my avatar ate them.
