I will be playing a 10k apoc game soon, 5 on 5.

My 2000 points is going to be 8 Mephistons. Another 2k is just Titans and flyers

Seriously? If your plan is anything to go by, then your opponents' armies will be just as boring.

The above would be one of the single most boring games ever, and you're breaking the rules by fielding 8 mephistons. He is "1 (unique)".

So, IMO, play a proper game. Infact, I don't particularly see the point of this thread anyway than to make clear that you think you can field 8 unique characters.

I think it would be fine if one player had just flyers and titans if all the other players had regular armies. Apocalypse is all about the spectacle, and there's not a lot of spectacle to 8 Mephistons running up the field.

Indeed. There is something satisfying about other people spending several minutes writing what you want to say, and then you just jump in with a 30 second post and say "Oh yeah I was gonna say that" and you get just as much credit. Then again, it kinda sucks being the person who posts that. Anyway, I have to say I agree with SRM and everything that smart DV40k guy said.

You can't, even if it's apoc special characters are limited to 1 per army. If I was your opponent and you showed up with that you wouldn't play.

why would a game that silly be fun? it wouldn't really be able to be taken seriously. i don't know, i guess i'm just agreeing with everyone else on this one.

In addition, 10 player apoc games are a horrible idea.. You'll always have 2-3 people who dont get along and it will ruin everything. Or atleast have a judge or something..

Having that many people in a 10k game will be an absolute 'mare. Everyoen will be runnign aruond rollign dice for several units amrour saves fired by several different people.....ugh.


Also, i am totally with....everyone. Fielding 8 of the same unique character (nearly said IC then......) is a sucky tactic and blatently against the rules of a) the game, and b) the rule of fun.

If you want to field 8 unique characters at least field 8 different ones and come up with a fun bit of fluff as to why they are all charging into battle together.
