So, like every IG player, I have a squad of meltagun veterans and a chimera to put them in. My squad is slightly different as I use Bastonne, using a converted figure to represent Sgt. Apone from Aliens. Unfortunately you can't really see the greenstuff moustache he has, but I hope you like them all anyway! The new Chimera was a dream to assemble, and it painted up really quickly. I also left off the lasguns, as I think they look pretty lousy and out of place jutting out of the back of the Chimera. Instead, I cut up two strips of plastic and stuck them in the ports.
aaaaanywhoooooo...
The squad looks good, and the paint job on the tank is killer. Totally agree on the guns. Never liked them cause they never seemed like they belong there.
If you have a shotgun and a roll of duct tape, you can solve any problem
Simple and effective paintjob; love the work! +1 on the lasguns btw, I used the balls they come on to pivot and stuck these in the holes, creating instant viewports. Don't know if the new chimera has the same system for the lasguns though.

Meercat: "All eyes turned to the horizon and beheld, in lonely and menacing grandeur, the silhouette of a single Grot robot chicken; a portent of evil days to come."
