Am i really wrong in assuming that assault marine dedicated LRs can't DS?

Keep in mind i did use the search function, so it either didn't work or i suck at it

This is explicitly covered in the BA Codex.

BA land raiders have the special rule "deep strike" and are listed on the dedicated transport page. assault marines (without jump packs if you want to put them in the LR) don't have a rule denying deep strike to their transports and neither does the dedicated transport status. you can't (however) use the descent of angels rule with the LR deepstrike as it doesn't have a jump pack.
