a friend of my'n got his first IG command squad, and has finished his first commander.
without further ado here he is.

Isn't too much to look at, frankly. Just assembled straight from the box with no frills or anything. The paint could stand some thinning, the gold could use a little cleanup, and the fase could really use a wash to bring out the detail. The basing sand could handle some control too, as it's spilling about. Black isn't the best choice for fatigues, since there's little you can do to shade it, and highlighting usually makes it look chalky. The figure isn't badly painted by any means, but it could definitely use some improvement. A little more work and he could look real nice!
