This is one I won't forget.. and too bad it wasn't my army. While playing at my "home" store, a guy came in with is army case and after walking around a little bit checking out what armies were there that night, he asked me if I wanted to play him.. I said sure.. what are you playing.. all he said was Pre-Heresy SM.. I said kewl!! And then he proceeded to pull out a 2000 pt Pre-Heresy World Eaters army... my jaw dropped... he had the right color scheme, and every model was a conversion piece to make it the Mark II (I think that's what most of the Pre-Heresy SMs were wearing) armor. That quickly became the battle everyone started watching. I lost, but couldn't care less.. it was AMAZING to see his army. Certainly one of the most memorable battles I ever participated in.
