I still like the "hash" scheme - especially if you use sand to base them and go for a desert feel.
But if you're going with the purple and black, the question is how much painting do you want to do. If you want the skirt to look any good in purple it'll need quite a lot of shading etc. If you make it black, you can probably get away with a bit of highlighting... Then you'd probably have to do the legs (or at least the greaves) purple to get the contrast.
In either case, I'd probably make the back-pack black, and the aquila silver/steel to match the bolter.

the green is good too but you should add another color to it. like different color shoulder pads.
