It would be nice to be that occasional male howling banshee surrounded by hot elf chicks with big hair who are all in my squad. 1 dude, 9 chicks... um... okay don't go there.

Preferably a pre-heresy Thousand Sons sorcerer. Psykers are cool, but they do have that tendency to go nuts. If you exclude pre-heresy stuff, then I guess a Sorcerer of Tzeenetch. They are still pretty cool, albeit evil and somewhat insane.

You are really not sure if he is the next big hero or the one to bring down the imperium as it stands (not saying the change may not be good).

Tough call. I would pick human for sure as races like the Tau only live 30 years, and the Eldar are on their way out.

Engineseer: Basically a combat engineer, I have an ability to fix things that should by all rights be melted down for scrap and I'm most comfortable when I'm doing technical work. As a bonus I wouldn't have to wish I could grow another arm when I'm working on things anymore I would just build one!

Captain of an Imperial Cruiser: New or old model doesn't matter the firepower that these things have would be amazing to control. When not in combat I would run it like my personal city.

Or you could become a manager of a shopping mall on said cruiser, and have a zoo and so on too! wait... that was spaceballs.

I would be a rogue trader AND a worshiper of Chaos. I would strike a deal with Tzeetch or Slaanesh for Immortality and have a life span greater then a marine.
Then do evil secret trades according to my Gods wishes. Like delivering supplies to Tau and eldar that have aphrodisiac hidden in it to mess with them on the battle field...or other
stuff.

OR like delivering bombs to Holy Terra that are faulty or w/e.

i would be a librarian for the dark angels and contuine the hunt for the fallen!

A Space Wolf Scout with the MOTW or a Wolf Guard in Termi Armour w/assault cannon and pwr fist.

I'd be a Black Templar chaplain in terminator armor.

It would be cool to be a greater demon of khrone or tzentch ether one would be fun, bossing around all the lesser demons and stuff

A Tau earth caste engineer/mechanic, sit around all day on peaceful worlds tinkering with stuff and not having to deal with any of the crazy imperial brainwashing.

I would be an Eldar Autarch, they're military strategists who's only job is to "keep the eldar alive longer" essentially. You don't have to be war thirsty or anything, and you can wear any wargear, or join and do anything without any breaking of taboo.

If you want a macho answer though

I could handle being a Venerable Dreadnought with DCCW + Heavy Flamer, and Reaper Autocannon (the chapters used it once upon a time)

I would either be a Lord Commisar or the commander of an Imperial fleet commanding from a Apocalypse Class Battleship. I wold be relatively safe on such a massive ship and I would get to command massive fleets of ships and bombard planets!

A Custodes. Biggest badasses in the universe, and I get to sit on my ass all day waiting for someone to attack the Emperor. Watch tv, maybe call my bros over to play some COD 160463; would be good times.

Probably an Eldar Ranger. All the benefits of Eldar technology and life expectancy, no limitations, and close to no chance of being struck by a random bolter round adressed "to whomever may concern".

Either a Slaaneshi daemon or a Norn Queen.

Actually: Ultramar is described as "Utopian". Ultramarines actually do a good job turning the worlds they are stewards of into paradises....but then Tyranid eat them.

As for Tau: its a frikkin caste system. Terrible Medeveil stuff: with unquestioned ruling caste.

Eldar: you have to live on a ship you whole life and then when you die your soul is consumed by Slannesh.
