The book isn't even completely written yet, I don't see how there can be any rumors about. At the Warhammer launch event the Orc book still wasn't even finalized.

Just because something isn't finished (and how would you know it isn't? hmm?) dosen't mean there won't be rumors about it

And honestly these are just rumors. It may turn out that not a lick of it is true

True - but out of all the rumors:

I don't see anything that is going to make my army more competitive. I would like to think so, but it just isn't looking good.

Cheaper units would be good, though as I can try and fit that many more chariots in

Really, cheaper units would go a long way. And will prolly happensince cheaper units points-wise=more models needed=greater sales. So you could pretty safely bank on that.

Wow! Cheaper Skeletons..Really? they'll be more fun for my Dwarf Cannons, and Hand Gunners...

I still have to get the New Rulebook..., as for the TK Rumor..my friend is Jumping around happy as a Drunk Hobbit,
i have seen plenty of rumors about the TK's.. just google, yahoo, Bing (i still don't see the reason for that search engine.) TK's and you'll see tons of Flakk on the New Armies book.

I'm still awaiting for the Dwarfs Armys book to be re-done. the Organ Gun needs to be a Special unit with cannons.. hahaha..

Damn, i really Respect them Chariot Charges..nasty, but fun!

Waaaaaaaaaaaagh! Pass me my Grog!.

Minor update:
Harry confirmed that O&G release is next with army books already back from the printer.
He also confirmed today that Tomb Kings are next after O&G and books at the printer.
Ogre Kingdom started this year, so don't expect a release anytime soon.

I wonder if Mantic's line of low cost plastic undead influenced their thoughts.

While GW will do well selling the new units the basic skeletons and such will probably move slower and be less profitable.

Would depend on how well they made new Egyptian skeletons, since the Manic ones don't have that for options do they?

No they dont. and their catapult is tiny compared to a screaming one I think.

Anyways with huge nerfs to fear, I guess skeles will be cheaper pointwise. I can see a mile away GW will price them accordingly compared to the VC so money drain there if you'll need +60 of them. A bonegiant would be cool, hopefully armed with a Bow/Bolt thrower proxy like that one article

I rather like Tomb Kings' look... Just would like to see some of the stuff updated is all. Except for the Ushabti, those are too cool already and need to keep the same figs. I wouldn't even want them to make them plastic, for fear they don't end up as cool.

Idk, I think GW has been on a role on plastic MB/MI recently. The River Trolls, the Blood Isle Ogres, and the Juggernauts are nice and bit cheaper. Heck even the minos arent half bad'ish' (not to say they couldnt be A LOT MORE BULL LIKE) if you paint them a certain way

Well at least we have a general time frame for the TK now. I don't think it's right that O&G are getting another new codex before TK but if I had it my way every codex would be updated before they started on the next round.

@lord-blackfang, if Harry confirmed 4 40k codexes this year, he was pretty close-we've had 2 and we're getting a third in November. It just means the schedule was pushed back a bit, but being off by one book doesn't really hinder his reliability that much.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Minor update by Rajden over at Warseer:
I've heard that the following kits will be avaluable at the launch:

Battallion:
New skeletons with options for bows and CC-weapons
Tombguard
Light cavallery / Chariot

Other standalone plastic kits:
Bonegiant
Ushbati

Roc, Obelisk of Light, Sphinx, Tomb Scorpion etc in second wave

He is a long time Warseer member with a low post count and usually not a rumour poster, so believe it or not.

meh. They need to fill holes in existing armies. Still not Ghorgon, Cygor, Jabberslythe, Hellpit Abom, Warpgrinder, Throgg, Valkia, Forsaken,.

And that's just looking at 3 armies off the top of my head.

Not sure I buy this rumored kit list. How exactly could a chariot and a light cav box be the same thing?

If they recut the existing chariot with new horses and new crew, it would be excellent.

I'm not sure. It's not like they ever had a box that had a pile of skeletons, a bunch of skeleton cav and a skeleton chariot in the same box. Wait. What?

Only rumors I can recall are:

1) TK's in January
2) Will be a Construct-only list possible
3) Plastic Tomb Scorpion and Bone Giant

Well TK certainly not January (will be GK and perhaps some Skaven).
Next Fantasy army book will be O&G probably February. TK probably April or May.

That's a pity, but not entirely surprising. A current-gen-plastics TK army will be fething beautiful if they get the right sculptors in.
