Hello, I raise that post from the dead, older than the necrons themselves.

there is a fifth feeling who isn't covered by any god. Faith itself. Chaos cultists or space marines revere chaos gods to get powers. But, space marine, imperials, they revere the emperor with fanatism without excepting anything from him.

So if there would be a "fifth" major chaos god, it would be the god of faith.

For that god to be born, he would necessitate like Slaanesh to consume everything around him.

So if there would be a fifth god, it would be the celestial emperor, born by burning down the center of mankind empire, holy terra.

I think you are thinking of the WHFRP god.

In 40k there is Malice, features in the Space Marine Omnibus, still for sale too.

Are we talking a god equal to the big four or gods in general? There has to be countless minor gods. And since it is based on power in the warp what separates a powerful daemon from a lesser diety?

I came up with Ynnogua, a sub-Nurglite god of decay and entropy. A failed attempt to detonate a star in order to create a warp gate leads to a stable star of 'chaotic fusion'. Not a gateway the star slowly becomes a sentient Daemon of tremendous power but trapped by the bizarre physics of his situation. The focus on entropy is focused on the inevetiable death of the star, unleashing Ynoggua. Coming the dark days of the Great Rift, Ynoggua cults spread quickly, calling on Imperial citizens to let the fall wash over them, to take pleasure in decay.

Oh What a Lovely War.

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1
