I don't know. It's getting harder to stay excited about Orks, when compared to GK's.
Just had a game where my opponents paladins murdered 6 killa kanz in CC thanks to draigo and might of titans.
I know at 55+ points per model they should be awesome in cc, but I didn't have anything on the board that could deal with 10 dudes with 2+/4++ FNP, hammerhand, might of titans, weeniness.

Depending on the point value of my list, I fluctuate between 3 to 4 bw's in my rush list, and bring kff meks, that I stuff in the bw's with 19 boyz. Not sure about the other posts about burnas, but I love em, and have a group of 15 of them in one of my bw's. They have saved my butt several times, most recently against a nasty DE list. But the guy who said the one problem with them is getting them into position to flame something is correct, but I'd personally not care to lose them from my lists. I've always had bad luck with the SaG mek, so never use him. Mad Doc has that horrible flaw, where you can keep a trash unit just out of his charge range, and he's gotta chse down the nearest at top speed, and assault if possible every turn. I've also used warboss bikers with 3 to 4 nob bikers w/a painboy, but no klaws. Pop a waagh banner on one of yer nobs, and you'll be straight with big choppas.

Burnas would really work out because you can put a lot of hurt on them. Essentially they are just marines so use weapons that put a lot of wounds on them

While not knowing how that battle went down, or your list, but what you have to deal with them is numbers. I've only played the new GK's twice now, same guy, same 2k list, and I just overwhelmed him with numbers. Not sure how many turns it took for the kans to get into cc, but against marines of any kind, if I'm using kans, they're gun platforms and not much else. Throw 6 groups of 30 boyz at your opponent, or a bw rush list w/the wagons packed with boyz n burnas, etc.
I don't really see the Gk's as anything more than space marines, so I don't really deal with them any differently than I would SW's or even generic marines. I'm just hopin some of what I consider goofy units, i.e. tankbustas, flashgits are done away with, whenever we get a new codex.

Don't get nobz anywhere near 10 man paladin squads.
digi laser: Why would you ever pick 'eavy armor over cybork vs grey knights? Why would you ever pick it at all? You still can use FNP against anyone holding one of those awesome psybolters, and as pointed out above, most GK squads don't manage to kill nobz if they are charged. If you wipe their squads, you made your points back. They also work against purifiers, something you can't kill with most of our units.
Why would you take a painboy against GK? They inflate the cost of what's already a sub-optimal unit against this army. You want to take Nobz just for the wagons. Make them expensive and they will lose the game for you.
I'd still take 'Eavy Armor to protect against S5 boltgun volleys that will mow down naked Nobs, but I wouldn't bother with Painboy + Cybork in this case.

Get rid of Tankbustas and Flash Gitz? How could you!? First off, Tankbustas are actually rather decent. True, they really, really ought to have Tank Hunters as a USR, but hey. And Flash Gitz, if they were only either Elite, or you could stack the upgrades and buy them more than once, would be real decent Heavy Support.

Wait until you run into purifiers. You can't just throw more boyz at GK.

Why would you take a painboy against GK? Because you take a pain boy vs all other lists. You don't get to tailor your list in between rounds of tournament, just because your next opponent has shiny beakies. Even if you do, why would you ever want to take a 4+ save that is ignored by almost anything dangerous in the entire army(everything but storm bolters), if you could get 5++ and FNP for an additional 30 points? What reason do you want that extra battlewagon for anyway? Last time I checked a wagon couldn't kill a squad of marines on it's own. Not to mention that nobz inside a battlewagon usually don't get shot by storm bolters, and if they do get shot, the crater provides 4+ anyways.
What you are doing is taking a unit that has a good chance of kill any 3+ GK unit, including purifiers, take 30 points off that won't even get you a unit of gretchin and make them free kills for any GK shooting.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:

I played in a tournament with a thousand point kan wall.
I had a shot at winning until I faced a GK purifiers list. I was lucky to walk away with a draw because my opponent played too defensive.
