Thanks for the sub.

MarbosMiyagi wrote:Awesome work! Also, I really like the tile on the bases, nice touch.
And pretty inexpensive. My hobby store sells them in a sheet of plasticard for a few bucks.

Sarpedon_702 wrote:I am duly impressed! Just gave me the good shivers and reminded me of how much I loved both of those games! Your modelling ability is fantastic. The bases are so reminiscent of Rapture with the checkerboard tile. AWESOME!
Thanks! I went around the Medical Pavilion taking screenshots and replicating different patterns and textures that I saw.

The conversion work is really top notch, looks like they stepped right out of the game.

Great paint jobs as well, the parkay floors on the bases are a perfect touch
Thanks for the compliments! Very encouraging indeed!

kenshin620 wrote:Great looking update. Although are you gonna have some Big Daddies with the more traditional eye colors? The traffic sign thing they have?

Likely no.

As you recall, you can use a plasmid to make Bid Daddies act as body guards for you (In Malifaux rules this works well as summoning a Desolation Engine: the model the BDs represent), but this ability is temporary and will fade away (as the Desolation Engines do indeed fade away). This is why I have chosen a blue/green colour for the light being emitted from their helmets, to show they are under Jack's control via a plasmid. I went for a more blue-green colour as I feel that's more bioshock like. The fact is that almost everything in Bioshock is being tinted by lighting effects which gives them their distinct look. This is hard to replicate in miniatures without a light source. So I tinted the colour blue and used the blue-green as a theme to tie the models schematically with one another.

Thanks for all the comments, guys!

You captured the spider splicer spot on. The only thing missing is a blood stain on her bunny mask.

More pictures, would you kindly?
