I don't think classifying them within a genre matters because nobody else plays music like them. Their newest record is amazing. Used to put these guys on for Halloween instead of your standard Halloween sound FX cd's.

If you like White Mice you might also like Lightning Bolt (who have one of the most talented drummers playing right now):

Spoiler:

I love how heavy those bands are without using guitars.

And another great band:

Lately, I've been listening to 'Working Class Hero' (Lennon) and 'Into the Mystic' (Van Morrisson). Some seriously good songs right there.

One of my friends posted this song on facebook, and so after a good couple of listens, I feel compelled to post it here. I feel like there is just so much soul poured into this song, it's hard to describe.

Spoiler:

In case you didnt figure out, it's a song written by Nine Inch Nails, but re "mixed" and performed by The Man in Black.

Then there's bands like Mumford & Sons, most other rock musicians etc... Am I the only one here who despises heavy metal?

RHCP's new stuff is just horrible.... They used to be nice.

But I always preferred John Frusciante's solo albums anyway
