Mine has to be my total reserve DoA Blood Angels vs mech guard. He was running an astropath, so reserve rolls hurt from the start. The game was really his the entire time until some late game miracle work from my Ras. As it was kill points, he got a head start but I managed to have some Sanguinary guard take out a couple of veteran squads while an assault combat squad power fisted a leman Russ while the other 5 proceeded to melta a chimera and remove the embarked squad from the table. On the fourth turn, I was down by one kill point and had a couple of squads with a single marine or two remaining, one of which consisted of a single assault marine gone to ground in a crater to save a kp. Oddly enough, I also had one remaining ten man ras that had refused to come in from reserve and I knew would arrive on turn five.
On the fifth turn, the guard shoots as they are built to do, then my ras comes on. I combat squad them, sergeant and melta marine squad deep strikes within melta range of a leman Russ, and the other combat squad with a flamer deep strikes within inches of a ruin housing a squad of ratling snipers. One scatter roll is a hit, one only scatters two inches. The flamer proceeds to hit and wound all ratlings, that squad is toast and kps are even. Then, the melta marine fires at the leman Russ. Hit, pen, 5 on the damage chart. Game ends on turn five with an amazing last second comeback to pull out a win.
