Not as yet, but my only Imperial plasma weapons are on vehicles.

They don't "gets hot".

My eldar weapons don't suffer from this flaw, either.

I have lost more FNP assault marines to Gets HOT! rolls then I have guardsmen. Crazy...

What, you don't believe in magic guardsmen? My combi-weapons seem to explode all the time, but my IG plasma guns wont ever explode.

Occasionaly, I have been silly enough to use the Vengeance rounds that the Sternguard pack. Usually I get at least one 'Gets Hot!' roll in that to fail, sometimes two or three.

I'd advise against this. I tried the 'Muralitharan' while rolling in a game a bit ago.

I managed to send my opponent to the hospital with a severe concussion, along with an elderly couple who live a couple houses down, a pedestrian out for a jog (missed her dog, though) and a the poor postman. Apparently, one of the dice is currently in orbit, after passing through a jet airliner. The plane managed to fix the hole before a complete loss of cabin pressure, so it wasn't a total wash.

Oh! Well, it wasn't for a plasma roll. In fact, it wasn't even 40k. I just wanted to point out the danger of using that damned book!

I was playing my Crimson Fists versus a friends Chaos army and lost 3 command squad gunners to Get's Hot in one round, even with the Feel No Pain from the Apothecary.

Surly, Chaos is begin to grow.
