Don't worry bro, Greenwing is pretty darn powerful without Deathwing/Ravenwing support. Today, our old DA player returned from his loooong break, with his shiny new DA book (and his Greenwing army) in his hand and wiped the floor with a min/maxed SW toruney list. He brought some 12 plasma cannons and 8 lascannons in a 1750 points game, so you can imagine ... The TWC deathstar was in shambles at the end of turn 2 and the only thing it did was to kill a 90 points Tactical Squad...

That would be painful to watch, and more painful to play. I've mentioned that my mind is slowly changing as I'm trying to figure out builds and syerngy options. I'm just starting to scratch my head at certain things though. Why is a Blade of Caliban Unwieldy and only gives +1 to S, but Azerael's sword which give +2 to S has no drawbacks? I kind of would like to have seen company vets and vet sergeants have access to special issue wargear. Of course as I write that, I know people would take that and bend it in ways I can't imagine. I just would like to have an Auspex or Infravisor in my tactical squads.
