The revised list. I'm really starting to feel this. After the two upcoming tournies I'll playtest this with repping figs and if it shows any of the promise I'm feeling, I'll do this.

I've compromised between the best suggestions, making this "my" LATD/and the modelling possibilities. I added more mutants and a squad of furies. At 1500pts I have 81 models, most with T4 or more, heavy armor, shootyness and hth and 12 scoring units. Sadly I just couldn't find the points for mutation on the Aspiring champs.

Thoughts? Is it a tighter package now? How would you deal with it?

The list looks tighter now. The furies are a better bet than the daemonettes, given the vagaries of summoning and you're lack of a speedy icon delivery system.

How would I deal with it? With a space marine or csm army, I'd try to line up a lot of bolter fire on each mutant mob in turn (since they'll get no saves against the bolters). If the traitor guard squads infiltrated, I'd try to pick them off first, I guess -- shouldn't be too hard, as they'll be taking tests (with a good chance of failing) after only 2 casualties. I doubt I'd have to get close enough to let you get a flamer shot off.
My high-strength/low ap fire I'd concentrate first on the obliterator, then the armor.
The fast attack stuff would definitely be distracting and hard-hitting on the charge, but then hopefully containable (both hounds and furies do pounce fiercely, but then suffer from  high armor saves and low leadership).
The key would be trying to pick stuff off before it all enveloped me in a blizzard of, well, chaos. If you manage to time things and bring enough of your large and diverse array of nastiness to bear on the enemy at once, you'll disrupt your enemy's plans and take control of the battle.
A lot it going to depend on those spawn passing their stupid tests the first few turns.

As before, I assume you have icons sprinkled here and there to summon the furies?
Any way to buy a dozer blade for the russ? It's nice to be able to hide it behind terrain in deployment, but then it sucks to immobilize it before you get a chance to fire.
I tend to play my traitor russes without heavy bolter sponsons, since in most cases I want to be firing the battle cannon.
If the list were mine, I'd bring the number of spawn down to 4 (still a formidable unit) in order to get the points to mutate my champions.

Thanks for the comments Tinfoil.
I've run through a couple of scenarios, thinking How my TAU, shooty marines, Drop Marines or or different combos of =I=s would handle this list. I'm arriving to the conclusion that it wouldn't be easy. I hope to test it in a couple of weeks time, after the tournaments.
