Now THIS looks exciting. An excellent development. I wonder if they'd ever consider doing something like what's currently going on over there. Maybe it'd be a little difficult to create the rules for the insurgent/guerilla type warfare that's conducted. Not to mention the alleged chemical strikes. Interesting, nontheless. I may have to get my hands on this.

Any idea of the colour schemes, all the photo's I see are Black and White (for obvious reasons!).

Yup, will post some pics.
Jordanian armour seems to have been in a yellow sand finish with an olive green overspray in a soft edge irregular pattern. This seems to be the most common pattern;

I have some colour pics of M47 and a Centurion in this pattern so will try and post them later.
Another variation seems to have followed similar style but used a more stone base with a grey/green overspray. I'm unsure how common this was, though I do have a pic of an M47 in this scheme. Similar to this;

Infantry wore a khaki HBT uniform with British helmets and 37 pattern webbing. The M1Garand was the standard rifle with the Bren as the squad support weapon.
Need anything else, let us know. My club have been doing '67 on and off for years but I only have a few bits on it.

Whoa that is some unusual Camo. I actually quite like it. It reminds me of this German Camo - Thanks Big P - Jordanian Project starts here.

Collecting Forge World 30k????? If you prefix any Thread Subject line on 30k or Pre-heresy or Horus Heresy with [30K] we can convince LEGO and the Admin team to create a 30K mini board if we can show there is enough interest! |

I was thinking this was possible only the other day, using Shermans and T-34s from WW2 and T-55s and Centurions from Vietnam, you have the basis for many vehicles used in Arab-Israeli wars. If Battlefront release these variants it will save a lot on converting stuff.

I always liked the story that the Soviets sold them export models with heaters in them... while good for cold desert nights, the urban myth is that the Soviet heater had no off switch...
The Syrians had some WW2 German armour - Stugs, Panzer IVs, Jagdpanzer IVs and even some Hummels. They had some as late as '73 when they dug them in on the Golan Heights.
Jordanians had M113s and M47s ... Plus 100 Centurions and Saracens APCs. Lovely looking army to collect.
hehe 17 of the Panzer IV they had were sold from my country.... as far as i know, none of those survived....
