I see your point, you're ignoring the big tanks and focusing on a wider range of targets.

To be fair though, if you're taking the Apothecary, you're comparing 8 S7 shots vs 5 S8. Feels like a toss up really. I'd prefer Plasma for MCs and Melta for Crisis Suits for example.
