Just wanted to confirm that Scout moves occurring before Seize is a deliberate order of operations change from the main rule book.

In the 7th Edition BRB, Scout moves occur after Seize the Initiative is rolled. In the tournament packet, it lists the order as Scout and then Seize just like it was in 6th edition. Just wanted to make sure I know which way it'll be played.

Page 174 under Scouts: "After both sides have deployed (including Infiltrators), but before the first player begins his first turn, a unit...."

Page 132 under Seize: "if the player who is due to go second wishes to Seize the Initiative, he can roll a D6 before beginning the first game turn."

Seize occurs before the first game turn, Scout occurs before the first player turn. At least that's how it was ruled at Texasgamescon this year.

Seems to be a matter of interpretation Panzer Leader. I can understand the somewhat abiguity in how it works.

However we are following the order of operations of the BAO and NOVA Open and local Tournaments we have held.

I'm excited to see everyone again; always a really fun event. I think the New England Malifaux players are all chicken though, from what I hear.

Funny that being from New York i never considered myself a New Englander... thats pretty much reserved for Connecticut and North.

Indeed it is New England is CT, RI, MA, ME, NH and VT. Though many people in Southern CT more closely identify with NY than with New England.

Well DC is coming up in force to try and sweep the BFS regardless, 40K and Malifaux.

You're goin' down on top table, Brendan!

Great event. Will definitely be back next year! Back to back games against members of team USA, overall all 6 games I played were against excellent opponents, not a bad game to be had. Would play everyone again and look forward to the game! Plenty of other familiar faces. Grey knights are where it's at! Even when you forget to use 1/2 hour special rules and roll less than poor on dice... Can I request dice next year that have fewer 1's on them? Maybe fewer 6's too when I need a psychic test and morale check?
