The game has basically died due to the troubled development process. IIRC they ran out of money a few times, so I doubt another version will be made as it'd just be a drain on resources.

life.

it hasn't died. there is a diehard community, and we just got the damned legionnaire hero class.

I collect:

Grand alliance death (whole alliance)

Stormcast eternals

Slaves to Darkness - currently Nurgle but may expand to undivided.

Over the 30 days it has had an average peak of ~850 players (http://steamcharts.com/app/375230#1m), and has rapidly dropped from a full release price with incredibly expensive founder options to a bargain bin price, to F2P in a last ditch attempt to bring in more players.

I knew this game was in trouble long before it came out: when they showed a few screens that looked virtually identical to Space Marine, but less developed and then switched gears to talking about the founder's editions, and the various cash shops, and microtransactions they had planned, and so on. I've never seen a developer talk as much about how they plan to monetize a game while talking and showing so little about actual gameplay or mechanics or anything at all.

It's like they spent all their time working on how to cash in on a successful game, and forgot that at some point they need to develop a successful game.
