The red and black is very blood angels/blood ravens

Maybe Black with red trim?

I am actually going to pay to have such miniatures, but for Emperor Sake, can you work a bit more on female anatomy?
I know that realism is not something to look after in 40K, but basic anatomy says that women are more wide in the Hams and more thin in the shoulders.

Red is common and often women are pushed towards pinks, purples.

The historian in me is also having a mental derail if we are mixing cultures. Valkyrie vs snakes vs etc. Valkyries would clearly evoke ravens, and that is way done.

Now i like snakes as a theme, but I'd go diamondback or cobras or a similar color scheme. Maybe a sea snake green. It may seem boring but hardly anyone does the tone in diamond backs or similar rattlers.

IMHO: I think the hips are too narrow.

A goldish brown color with diamond pattern would look..pretty different and cool. I like Diamondbacks for your femarines

Yes.....they are now the diamond backs...it has been decided.

Would look better as Beakie Marines, still nice job translating the idea!

Low quality print has been ordered, will post some pics when I get them

I should clarify my original post. I fully support someone making whatever the heck they want, I was simply pointing out a vastly cheaper way of doing this. If this is a personal goal driven project - go nuts.

I actually dig the look. If you're not selling them (and you basically can't) do whatever the heck you want - you don't have to answer to the consumer base. Give 'em huge boobs, high-heel combat boots, etc. Go bananas.

So here we are got the first low quality test models delivered. I believe the scale is just right but open to suggestions.

A bit tall, but not ruinously so. As with all 3D tests in that material - almost impossible to see detail.

Awesome, except for the lack of a Beakie Helmet.

yeah can you give it black wash? Then we could see the details on it.

I also endorse beaky helmet...

This weekend I will try to apply a wash. I also have the backpack for it.

Should I make them 1mm shorter?

In the grand scheme of things I don't imagine it'll matter too much.

I think 1mm shorter might help them fit in with other marines if your gonna run a mixed squad. Though you can reduce the thigh size a little and that'll help cause shes got some wicked long legs.

(not that i don't like a girl with wicked long legs )

I had to order some wash... .:( will post images soon.

In the meanwhile working on the cpt and other 9 poses.

Anyone has suggestions for possible poses? If you do please attach some images.

After the poses are done heavy weapons and termi like....

Minis are looking good, like the Coatyl emblem.

I'd like to see a variation on the breather that comes to a point at the bottom (like a kite shield), and is pointed inward instead of outward. May look too Banshee, though.

I'd be curious to see what a power fist would look like on this armor, as well as what the assault version would look like if you go with the Valkyrie theme.

It never ends well

Believe it or not could not find a wash :( so ordered a few days ago from GW, should be delivered at any time.

In the meanwhile my firend is working on the poses and cpt with a power fist.

I hope to post some "great" updates next week.....

But please keep submitting pose suggestions...

Best suggestions I could make on the model:

- Legs are a bit long but is quite striking, I think it is largely due to rather featureless other than the "pinstripe".
- Could some kind of trim that sticks out be added to the top edge of the leg/hip area? The hip area looks narrow for anyone and has a slightly "sharp" look to it. The shoulder pads just need something to slightly off-set them. Maybe add the oval like proposed at the ankle at the hips? It might spoil the lines though, the leg length is growing on me.
- Could you add something like the knee ovals to the elbows? and then an oval at around the "ankle", it might break it up that little bit it needs.
Spoiler:
- Could the grill on the mouth be a little more "convex" maybe more pointed out in the middle? Maybe extend the solid "nose piece" between the eyes a bit further down.
Just looking to get it a tiny bit more different than the Howling Banshee mask.
- I reserve comment on high-heels on the battlefield but I think the closed flat heel you added looks perfect. Also, there is supposed to be a fair bit of tech inside the bottom of the feet so it can be readily forgiven to give a little extra height.
- The comment of adding some "butt crack" I would suggest some subtlety like a top of heart shape just below the belt at the back. Presently it does look like our marine is wearing depend back armor. Heck, the SM standard square back plate would work fine just add some radiuses at the corners.
- I think the chest plate is reasonable, at first glance it did not seem exaggerated, it seems to really stand out on side view and hunched over.
- Maybe add a thin plate along the back of the helmet joining from ear to ear? To offset the mouth piece and I think you made the neck guard rather low so it should work well.

Best I can think of if I was to do it.
REALLY well done, steering rather tastefully away from a pin-up marine but conveys a female shape to it well.
Good to see!

I don't see enough running/moving marines, particularly with bolters. Running with bolter shoulder, or tucked, or in hand wouldn't be bad.

A kneeling marine for sure since you're doing mono-pose and don't have real limits.

A bolter slung on a strap would be cool.

A couple actually aiming - not firing from mid-chest which is forced by plastic multi-part assembly.

So I tried inking it, bad result :( the other 9 models renders should be ready in a few days... so I wil post them, and once printed and painted I am sure details will be clear.
