Some of the countryside sales can be treasure troves of old stuff being chucked out. Books, DVD, music and TVs will sell for next to nothing; whilst large furniture will sell for very little - so if you've got a van/large car/trailer you can make a steal on them (whilst others are factoring in hiring someone to move it at extra cost).
Probably 30-50 bucks for the statue. Just saying 2k for a model is insane.
Another really awesome dragon you can snag is Archeon's Dorghar. Not cheap but a stunning model when painted. It's the largest plastic model
GW makes. I have seen some fantasic conversion giving him a more dragon type head.
