For the fighter miniatures, yes.

However, the above starter set will not have randomized cards and coins. There has also been discussion about selling the coins as a pack once the next set is released, and about how to release fighter cards separately from the miniatures.

Honestly, I was pretty sceptical as well. I bought 5 fighters, and they all seem useful from what I've seen in the cards. I also got 2 duplicate coin plates, but I've posted them in the Facebook swap group, and I'll be asking local players to trade.

Could have done with a mob template or two maybe?

I've been eyeing this game for a while now, and that starter set swung me. Just ordered it, Tisiphone and a Fierce Mastiff!

That is a neat little bit of kit tht I might pick-up just for the terrain.

The core models do not do much for me, and I am unsure about the core conceit of this game.

@Infinite Arry- I would love to see a Bat rep or something if you get a chance.

Love the model for Barca though.

Saw a demo of this game at a local Con and have to say it plays and looks a lot better than one thought it would.

Personally will be looking to grab a box starter set, and see if others local will be up for a game, but happy to just grab a starter set. It does fill that urge to want to game.

That's perfect! I was going to Salute, plans changed so seeing if I can still go via a different method. If so, I'm picking it up as I love the style and that scenery is amazing. I'm getting sick of 'magical realms' and 'grimdark' in my games.

I picked up my copy, was impressed with the terrain and figures, however found that I had been given two sets of the equipment/skill cards, and none of the named fighter cards. I've mailed them but not got anything back just yet (although it has been a weekend!).

Is this unique to me, or did anyone else have issues with their starter?

Not only a weekend, a Salute weekend so they'll all have been down in London selling stuff, then travelling home and crashing/getting sick

This made me lol. You forgot the Ragazzacci gangs. Scooter drive-bys would be perfect. Along with Gelato shop owners who are curiously wealthy and only work/open a few days a week.

Answering my own question. My set showed up yesterday and nothing was e-mailed to me, so just keep your eyes peeled if you haven't gotten your set yet!

The starter is pretty great. The rule book is easy to read and has great production value, and the models/accessories are quite nice.
