Maybe the thread title could be updated to be less 'clickbaity' now we know it isn't doom and gloom?

My biggest problem with battlescribe on the PC is that every time I open it, the settings and sizes always change randomly, so I have to re-drag the section sizes back into something that makes sense.
As for accuracy, I’d say it is generally ok, however, there are issues every time it updates. Might only be a handful, but you need to be aware of them and double check everything after. You are also at the “mercy” of the independent creator when it comes to updates and fixes. It generally gets done, but, there can often be a bit of a delay.
Personally, I’m just waiting on the expected GW 40k app. Whether it will work properly or not, who knows, but, I’d at least hope that it will have correct data and updated quickly.

Try copy to clipboard as Custom Text.
I have. Tried a bunch of things. Not a battlescribe support thread though so I will stop moaning

Again, already tried. Next, I'm going to install it on a different machine. Hopefully will work then.

But Codex + calculator is ALWAYS up to date and accurate (well, as accurate are you are competent anyway)

I dont agree. Codex is NOT always up to date. And sadly, once it is outdated it does not get updated, unlike Battlescribe. Also carrying 4 books around to play a game is dumb when you can use BS and maybe take a book for reference.

this.. add in FAQ updates and CA updates.. things are bound to get missed. We had more list problems at our last tournament due to Human error than errors in battlescribe...and those at least we could consider non cheating ones.

These other apps should just use the battlescribe community data files, no point doubling up on the effort to maintain up-to-date source definitions
