nice thing about spawn is they work quite well with a daemon prince on foot as they have similar moves. I'm warming to a foot dp like this as you save a fair few pts for 4".
OT but a Thousand sons DP is awsome like this with spawn with 5++ buffs and regren wounds + TS have a cool spawn strat. Maybe a cheeky spearhead TS (painted as IW) proxy

Glad I read to the end of the post before posting myself. Was about to reference Kroeger. =)
Granted in the novels he did get a lot of side-eye from the other commanders because of his devolving to Khorne.

Absolutely. In my opinion, any one IW dedicating himself wholly to a single chaos god would probably be similarly side-eyed.

I don't care about fluffyness as much as just being a good unit. It would be for ITC events and such.
I was really hoping to not have to use Berserkers since my main army is WE.

I don't see why you'd need to use Berserker minis. No reason you couldn't have normal Iron Warriors fallen to Khorne, covered in copious amounts of blood, count as berserkers.
