I saw a thread on reddit about the one character you would kill in the 40k universe... Lucius had more upvotes than Erebus. I don't share the opinion but I think he's kinda unpopular

He is traitorous filth who turned on his brothers and the Emperor for vanity.

My favorite character is Peachy.

He and Duncan are the lost Primarchs.

They told the Emperor to thin his paints. You know the rest of the story.

Mob Rule is not a rule.

I get most of my lore from 1D4chan, so I'm not really in a position to choose, but their articles seem to suggest that Vulkan was a swell dude, so I'll go with him, even though he's not technically 40k.

Gabriel Seth just a legend when dante asks for that tax of marines Seth says Dante should actually pay a tax to the flesh tearers to get them to full fighting strength.

I'm dyslexic and thus am bad at spelling and grammar please don't remind me in comments to my posts.

The flesh tearers really like killing so much. In fact they may love it more than inquisitors.

Vulkan the Primarch is described as being the biggest and strongest Primarch of them all in the Horus heresy books, apparently he was as big in his normal armour as Horus was in terminator plate and yes he deeply cares for mankind.

If I ever manage to complete my current Dark Angels project and get around to starting a Primaris army, I've already decided to fashion them in honor of the 31st millennium's favorite giant gentle pyromaniac.

Hmm, tough question.

In some ways despite not playing orks I gotta like thrakka ghazkhull. A real leader who cares about his people. He let yarrick escape and go back to Armageddon so his peolle could have the pleasure of fighting him. He came to rescue an ork sector from tyranids and ripped his way out of a massive tyranid kaiju after it swallowed him. He really seems to care about his people's wellbeing and can respect people of other races. He is admirable in a lot of ways.

Rouboute Guilleman. Similar notes to the ones about thrakka. I think he cares more for his people than himself.

Caiphus Caine. Maybe the sanest man in the imperium...

The answer is Eisenhorn.

Not some juiced-up astartes, fancy pants know-it-all space elf, murderous green fungus, hippie fish man, or recently woken robot-man who thinks they own the galaxy.

Definitely tough to settle on just one, but I think I am another vote for Eisenhorn. That series is what got me really hooked back into the setting.

Vulkan seems to have a hammer fetish over a flamethrower one...

Kaptin Bluddflagg for Orks, he's the best Freeboota Kaptin bar none (Badrukk, get outta heeere) and his campaign was by far the best (and funniest) of the ones you could play in DoW2 Retribution. Gotta get that inquisitor hat!

30K wise, mad respect for Malcador for basically setting up the foundations of the Imperium, being the only real bro to the Big E besides the Custodes, and being able to force choke Horus before the Heresy. Sigismund is a close second.

Chaos - Talos of First Claw. Damn he was awesome, closely followed by Kharn, the universal swell guy!

Imperium - Inquisitor Eisenhorn and then his former apprentice Ravenor. Honourable mention goes to Tarkus of the Blood Ravens!

Xeno - Kapt'n Bludflag for the accent that sank a hundred Rok's
Closely followed by Old One Eye. Can't keep a good Carnifex down and for allegedly hunting down ultramarines on their own damn planet!

Thread asks for 40K characters. The first response is a 30K character. The Heresy really ruined everything...

I'm just as bad, because I can't pick one. Kharn? Literally too angry to die. Sergeant Cortez? Dude's a badass. Creed? Tactical Genius. You've got Kaptin Badrukk, who only retreated temporarily from a skirmish during the War of Dakka after every other Flash Git with him was killed, and only then because he'd run out of cigars. Then Dawn of War has its picks from Gabriel Angelos, General Sturnn, Gozugtz and Eliphas the Inheritor to Tarkus, Cyrus, - actually pretty much the whole cast was on point in DOW2.

But if I absolutely have to pick one? Kaldor Draigo It's gotta be Commissar Yarrick. Inspiring orator, leader of men, has the respect of the biggest Ork Warboss in the 41st millennium, and is also subsequently chasing down said Ork to stop him from causing more havoc. To top it off, he brought along the Black Templars for the ride. Do you know any other Commissar that can essentially recruit a SM chapter Inquisitor style?
