I was two models way from finishing my Corsairs. I was making an orbital assault army so it was all Falcons dropping troops down with air support and all that was left was a pair of Phoenix Bombers.
Sadly 8th came out and my army stopped existing in any meaningful way. Corsair Prince that I made from an Archon and Autarch? Removed. Reavers in Falcons? Couldn't even be made with a different army. Voidstorm assassins? Also gone.

So now I have a whole bunch of models with no purpose outside making me want to start Dark Eldar.

This feels familier. I had about 3000pts of converted up Prince, Void Dreamer, Barrons, Reaver Bands with double Blaster each, Malevalent Bands made from Wyches, Balestrikes all with Dark Lances made from Scourge, a Lynx, Phoenix Bomber, squad of War Walker and a couple Squads of Cloud Dancers with Splinter Cannons pretty much done. I was just sorting out a jet pack replacement and had already got several games in that were amongst the most fun I'd ever had that edition, and then 8th dropped and killed the army.

My Reaver:

- Bought it about 8 years ago, wasn't much of a good painter back then but loved how it came out.

- Fast forward to about 2 years ago and it became a bit of an eyesore in my opinion, so I decided to redo the whole thing. Every single part was disassembled as much as I could, there were occasional snapped parts which I had to repair, and of course I had to strip the whole thing down. The overall process took about a year.

- Bought an airbrush and learned how to use it, repainted it in much better Astorum colours using the airbrush and FW transfers, absolutely loved the final result.

- About a year later I realised it still doesnt look right. The walking pose I was going for looks a bit like he's limping and made it rather unstable. Back at the disassembling again and now the legs are in bits.

One day I hope to finish it, but I can't see it happening anytime soon.

My sniper heavy Scout force. Models bought, assembled, primed but never painted. Was planning on a modern military Desert theme. Now overshadowed by Primaris Eliminators.

Could also say my entire Ork army.
