Again, I am unsure how Sony has any rights to the character. She is wholly unconnected to Spiderman.

The way Marvel sold off rights in the bad years was weird. In some cases I think they included potential movies or options on related characters, especially villains, that the studios involved never even bothered to exercise. But they still technically have them.
In some cases its really weird, which is how the Xmen movies ended up with Quicksilver, but the MCU still had Wanda and Pietro. They somehow granted rights to portions of a character's identity.
Or how Fox had FF, but Universal has the rights to Namor, which while technically his own character, shows up more often in FF or Avengers than as his own thing.

Jessica Drew was the brunette - also impersonated by a Skrull Queen for a long period of time.

Julia Carpenter was the blonde - has also operated as Arachne and Madame Web.

Mattie Franklin would be John Byrne's Spider-Woman - though she's currently dead.

Mayday Parker was the MC2 Spider-Girl, the daughter of Peter and MJ.

Anya Corazon is the Hispanic Spider-Girl, having originally used AraƱa as a codename.

Silk is Cindy Moon, a Korean-American heroine with Spider powers.

Spider-Gwen/Ghost-Spider is an alternate Gwen Stacy.

Well done, did you do it from memory?

Anyway point is certainly ONE of them is covered by Sony's license. In fact wasn't Spider Gwen in Into the Spiderverse? So there we go. Even money it's Spider Gwen.

On the weird character name rights, look at Captain Marvel (DC).

I too guess it is Spider-Gwen, which is a shame since she is my favorite. If we're being totally honest, Jessica Drew is a better character, I just like Gwen's costume better. It's the hood, I think.

Drews modern costume is pretty sweet.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.
