Excellent work everyone! Personally speaking, I'm pretty chuffed with a second place - it's been ages since I was last 'on the podium', so to speak. I think the main thing is getting another couple of minis painted, though, especially as it's Iyanna - she's a conversion I've had done and ready to paint for quite a while. The daunting amount of yellow is what has been putting me off doing her...

Daia T'Nara - Very cool pair of models, i like the clean sharp armour compared to the vivid colours

Daia T'Nara - Loving the 'fleshy' looking servo arms/tentacles - very Chaosy!

Thanks both The tentacles were really just an in-the-moment sort of choice - I was puzzling how to paint them in a way that wouldn't be tedious from having to do mechanical neatness on all those tiny edges, or leave the whole mini unremarkable (I hadn't finished the armour at that stage, but I knew it wasn't going to be colourful itself; he's not Slaaneshi himself, so he hasn't 'earned' the bright colours and rosy gold the rest of the warband has, technically he's lower-ranked than the servitor), then it popped into my head that I'd painted the Obliterator a little while previously with some of his 'mechanical' components flesh and bone, and besides adding colour that really let me just slop the paint and inks on any old how and still feel like that's how it's 'supposed' to look. That's where the name 'Fleshsmith' came from, and that reminded me that Syl had torn all the machine parts out of a chaos techmarine once upon a time, so the lore of him kind of fell into place in a pleasing way just from 'how can I paint this?' decisions.
