I liked the canvas painting-style art, but the animation itself was bit choppy.
Particularly the second act was fantastic. After that it lost a bit of steam - third one was too silly. Also the character there was just a plucky underdog, not an expert warrior like other two.
But overall, it was rather a positive surprise. I did not have much expectations.

Well, to be fair the pred wasn't after the kid in the 3rd story until he managed to cause some damage to the predator and present himself as a threat. Humanity doesn't stand a chance against predators because we have expert warriors. We stand a chance because we come up with wild creative strategies and tactics that create unexpected outcomes. We surprise them. And thats why they hunt us. That plucky underdog did more and better than the warriors because he was thinking outside the box the whole time.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

I found the size of the Predators curious, though. They felt needlessly large to me.

Yeah, the landscape and surprised French in the town place the WW2 part in North Africa.
Just caught up with this and that third story surprised me with a very accurate depiction of Ranger, including the deck edge smoke stacks, the hangar deck catapult and the fact that she would have been the US carrier in the Atlantic in ‘42. Unfortunately let down by complete nonsense physics for the aerial combat, which let the whole thing down. I still enjoyed it, but that breaking the limits of suspension of belief stopped it from being an absolute standout for me.
I am very, very keen to see what Dan Trachtenberg is going to do in Badlands, because he really seems to get how a Predator film should work.
Yeah, the stunts in the air were pretty rough. It helped me a little that early on in the Viking part I accepted that we'd get cartoon physics throughout the movie, so at least it wasn't a complete surprise when the aerial bit came around, but that part sure was pushing my acceptance to the limit.

Yep, Viking and Ninja parts were just as silly when it comes down to it.
Cool to have Vichy there in stead of Germans or Japanese.

I thought it was pretty weak overall. The VA work wasn't brilliant, the art style was fine, and the story for a concept as cool as "Predators vs Warriors through time" was just meh.
