i want to delete a group of images i have place under the title "pictoral life of a high elf swordsmaster" but i cannot find an option to do so. Would it be possible to get this sub gallery in my personal gallery deleted along with the images it contains?

You have to delete the images one by one. When the gallery is empty it will vanish.

Click on the 'edit this image' link under each image when you view them. There is no batch delete method as we prefer to encourage people to keep their images with us so that there dont end up being broken links all over the place.
