Looking for a good set of modern warfare rules. Any suggestions?, Iknow somebody who has a ton of G.I joe action figures and wants to do some sort of wargaming with them.
Yup. The nice thing about it is that it's open-licensed; if you want to produce miniatures and rules for those miniatures, then you can do so using Battlefield Evolution. Probably work well for GI Joe dolls.
Interestingly those rules are an evolution of the rules that Andy Chambers originally wrote for Starship Troopers. Both sets are rather good.

Hee hee! Face it, they are man-dolls. I'm not knocking it; I have a bunch of the old stuff from the 1980's floating around my parent's basement somewhere.
There is a game called Combat Storm which plays like a simplified 40K for 54mm plastic toy soldiers and would work for GI Joe if you scale everything up and play in the garden.
