Nope, just the wizard / character, as nothing says it DOES affect the mount.

For the opposition to the bonus applying to the mount, there's the "Cavalry and Special Rules" section on page 82 that the Ridden Monsters and Special Rules section on page 105 references. The spell targets the character, and thus would be a special rule applying to the character.

But I expect it'll be one for the rulebook FAQ.

It specifies the character, so only the character would benefit - for once they havent used "model"....
