My gaming group is running a number of FoW games at Gencon this year. We have a Remagen Bridge table (it looks amazing) and a Stalingrad table. Both tables are 8x4, and we are running introductory multi-player games that are designed for new players. We are supplying all the dice, figs etc.

Although all the spots are now full, you can stop on by and learn about the game, armies etc. All the guys that are running the games are enthusiastic about it, and we all have different armies, and can give some advice to anyone thinking about starting up.

Where are your games being held in the convention center? With the lack of an official Battefront presence (very disappointing) you're probably the best bet I'll have of getting a demo in

We are going to be at Indiana Convention Center, room 202, table 4-5. We are running 4 hour sessions, 10-2 and 3-7 on Thurs, Fri, Sat, and 1 session on Sunday

I think that my LFGS will be running some short intro/demo games at their booth. The Booth is Games 2 Die 4, and they will also have battlefront product for sale.

Cool -- I'll check them out. I'm really hoping to pickup some kind of starter deal for Flames of War @ Gen Con, as in the past I've picked up some pretty sweet starter deals for various games (Buy 1 get 1 for AT43, buy a starter get a rule book for Warmachine, etc).

So how did this go? I was in shock for most of GenCon and didn't get a chance to come by, unfortunately.

I walked by on sunday when I got the chance, but it looked like the game being run at that time was almost over. Wish I had more time at gen con to make it to everything!

The games went very well. All of them were fairly ballanced, except one on the Stalingrad table where the
Germans got hosed.
I will try to get some photographs up.

At least it was historically accurate
