I've found some pics plus there are some in the dex if I remember, I only had it for like a week and a half and decided orks weren't for me.

1st, welcome to Dakka, it may seem that we are having a go, but we are just excited to see your work and usually when someone posts a thread without a question in the title, we expect to see a mini. The caps thing may seem anal too but trust me, the above is the nearly universal response an all cap post gets, so it is actually good advice, despite the sarcastic delivery.

For Ork painting, there should be tons of tutorials a Google search away, but an Evil Sunz Ork scheme I particularly liked was in a very recent White Dwarf, and although it was Fantasy, the technique would still be perfectly usable with 40k.

Is anyone familiar with the WD issue I am talking about by chance?

Or simply just type Evil Sun Warboss into Google images

The most important thing to remember is that you should paint your miniatures in a way which makes you happy, just because Ork skin is generaly accepted as green hasn't stopped some painting them blue or red, sometimes to great effect. The same goes for the colour of the armour and weapons.
