When you miscast can you use the lore of life to restore a wound lost by the wizard due to the miscast?

Basically wondering what's resolved first, the miscast or the attribute.

The spell first then the miscast table and results.

You resolve the spell and all effects FIRST, then the miscast. So if you were already at full wounds, the attribute could nto heal you further and, if you then lost a wound due to the miscast you would still be down a wound.

Hence why throne is such a good spell...
