Hi,

These are some pics from my WIP Tau. They are quickshaded as I need to get a 40k army on the table top but I'm trying to make them TT acceptable. I've also been considering colour theory and stuff like that which I never used to do before (used to use gut instinct!) The weapons are magnetised also (obviously you cannot see that!)

Anyway gentle feedback would be appreciated, even if its 'my EYES' or 'they look pretty decent'.

Commander:

Carbine Warriors

Rifle Warriors (more accurate to the colour scheme)

They look great, but the Fire Warriors could use some extra detail like on the lenses etc.

Agreed with above. The red hurts "my EYES'' it is very intense with the carbine warriors, and could be lighten up a bit. They look good though, can't wait to see more.

Slick models, but also a bit shiny! Maybe put some sort of matte varnish on them?

IMHO Quickshade always needs a matte varnish, the greasy shiny surface doesn't look right.
That among other reasons is why I always use Citadel inks instead.

Thanks guys - the lenses are done that is just an old photo... and yes I am going to matte them when I have enough done and the weather is good enough to be spraying outside. :-)
