Team Scotland 40K presents it's "Overseas" 40K Event for the 2010/11 ETC Season:

Caledonian Uprising 2011

The Scottish 40K Team will be descending on Mansfield in an effort to recruit new players and test out old players who are caught on the wrong side of the border. However it would be quite a small event with just our team so we would like to invite you to, what we hope will become an annual event, the Caledonian Uprising!

This event is open to anyone who wants to play. Nationality/ETC Eligibility/reason for being there is not important. 40K and social will be the main aims for the weekend!!

The secondary function of the event is as a fund raiser for the Scottish 40K Team. £5 of every ticket will be used by the team to subsidise Team Shirts, travel and accommodation costs.

Caledonian Uprising Information Pack

Date: 22/23 January 2010

Maelstrom Games

Opening times:
Friday: The venue will be open 1000-2359hrs for pick up games and social.
Saturday: The venue (and bar) will open 0800hrs and close at 0200hrs or whenever the last customer staggers out
Sunday: Again opens at 0800hrs and close whenever we are done.

Capacity: 80 (however as the venue develops/expands more may become available)

Event Format:

The event will comprise 6 games, 3 games on the Saturday and 3 games on the Sunday, lasting 2hrs 30minutes each.
Missions and deployments will be announced at the beginning of each round by the Organisers.
Players will be drawn randomly for the first round with a ‘Swiss system’ being used to determine pairings for rounds 2-6.
Games will be played with Warhammer 40,000 5th Ed Armies of 1750pts.
