The Emperor Class Battleship 'The Sky Ablaze'

The Atrum Unus
The Atrum Unus is one of the most secretive units in the Inquisition, with only the highest ranking members being allowed access to its knowledge, for if any were to learn of its existence on the wrong grounds, they may begin to question the Inquisition. The Atrum Unus is a collection of unique and often dangerous individuals; many are the very thing the Inquisition hunt. Commissioned by The High Lords of Terra themselves, this unit was created to counteract the Forces of Chaos among other things. Any Inquisitor who associates himself with this group are branded as Radicals, for the members of the Atrum Unus are but one step from the Daemons of Chaos themselves. All members of the Atrum Unus operate under codenames formed from Latin.

Current Members

Sanctus Malus
One of the mysteries of The Imperium, Sanctus’ past is unknown to all but himself. Only precious few even know how he became one of The Emperors servants. During one of the many battles during the Emperors crusades, they chanced upon a Chaos Tomb. Proceeding with caution, The Emperor himself led a unit of Terminators into the depths of the Tomb, to find a man chained to the wall with several cursed marks of binding on the chains and wall. When the Emperor walked closer, the man simply looked up, smiled, and requested The Emperor break the chains holding him. He promised The Emperor that if he broke the chains, he would serve him until he was dead. The Emperor felt confident that if this man was hostile they could stop him, and so broke his chains. When he stood, the Emperor discovered two large scars on his back. When asked as to their origin, he always replies ‘that’s where he cut my wings off’. One thing the Emperor had failed to realise, is that when he made the promise of servitude, he was referring to The Emperors death. To the current day, Sanctus has served the Emperor, until the day he dies. Many have tried to discover how Sanctus has lived for so many years, and how he cannot die from mortal wounds, always reappearing after a battle he is apparently slain in, but none have ever found out. He harbor’s a great grudge against the being he refers to as ‘He’, saying that he was the one that cut his wings and locked him in that tomb.

Totus Gnarus
Totus is one of the more hated members the Atrum Unus, as he is a Daemon Host. However he is unique in the fact that he won the fight when a Daemon tried to posses him. Found by the Atrum Unus and inducted into its ranks, Totus made valuable allies and friends among the group of the fellow damned. As a Daemon host, Totus is exceptionally strong, and has a greater connection to the warp, making him a potent Psyker.

Feel free to post a member here, I am building this into a short stories series, and I would like some unique characters.
