hi guys, i was wondering if it is possible to create a new ork tribe, and if so, if others have done it, to post some examples? the thing about orks are that the paint jobs can't be changed much.

There is always room for more tribes. Just create a WAAAAAAGH! and use a new scheme. BAM! New tribe.

As people always say, the Galaxy is a big place. Go ahead, just make sure it doesn't encroach on existing material.

i was thinking something along the lines of this....


thousands of years ago, the space wolves learned that a Mad Dok, along with a special unit of Kommandos, managed to infiltrate a SM HQ and the MAd Dok learned the process for creating space marines. The Mad Dok was aboutto return home and start creating super orks, or whatever, when he was assassinated by a special force of Wolf Scouts. Ever since, the orks have been so enraged that they launched a full pronged WAAAAAGH straight at Fenris, but they have met fierce resistance. They call themselves Da Wolfsmashaz. the rite of passage for a young ork includes killing a fully grown wolf with your teeth. the orks paint parts of their faces and armor space wolves gray in tribute to their enemies, and because the sight of that colour, or anything wolf related, whips the orks into a frenzy rivaled only by Khorne Bezerkers. to this day, the orks continue battling the hated space wolves who assasinated their Mad Dok.

i like it, but dont like the idea of making new space marines, that doesnt make sense. i doubt a mad dok could ever understand it or that SM would be doing that in a place orks could get into, let alone be doing it all at once, the dok would have to watch weeks if not months of work. maybe something smaller but important, they stole a termie suit, or a geneseed maybe without knowing it was a geneseed. or maybe they captured some high ranking IG officer, and the SW went off and killed the Mad dok who was experimenting with truth bioniks or something. you just chose something that was too large and intense

nice. great idea. but orks need a leader to form a full pronged warrggghhh!!!! and if not they will just be poop.

also i AGREE with sageheart the only possible way that a mad dok could even get close to understanding the gene seed if he was a big mek.
because tech marine only know how to transfer and copy gene seed's. even they dont know how to reproduce them. only the emmortal emporor has a clue..

Stompsnik Wolfdakka was an elite soldier accompanying the mad dok when he was assassinated. The sight of that threw him into such a frenzy that he kill 17 scouts with a meltagun pointed the wrong way (lol) and hates the wolves ever since.
