This will be the general jist for my army.

On the planet Mogilev mass industry was set up by the imperium to produce weapons and tanks for any soldier of the imperium who needed it. However, after years of weapon, armour and tank production th epeople of Mogilev began to notice the injustice in the quality of armour provided to the Space Marines and the lack of quality given to the Imperial Guard platoons. This angered the people of Mogilev who felt strongly that all soldiers should be given equal oppurtunity to fight and all men should be given equal quality armour. But no one was more angered than Ivan Trotsky. Ivan Trotsky formed the (Novoya Bolshevik Union, NBU) and he led demostrations against the imperium. Time had taught the people of Mogilev to think together as nothing had changed for centuries within politics and all the people of Mogilev felt that Trotsky was right, they had been raised that all men were equal and this was obviously absoluty injust. It wasn't long at all before Space Marines were dispatched to deal with rioting and 'heretical' thoughts as people began to feel that the emperor couldnt possibly be a god if he refused to treat his own soldiers equally. As Space Marines dealt with these 'heretics' the people became even more angry towards the space amrines and the vicous circle went on. Until the Space Marines made their worst mistake. At one of Trotskys public speeches the Space Marines atempted to wipe out all traces of 'heresy' on Mogilev. Thousands of onlookers were slain and Trotsky took several shots to the face. This caused unpresidented chaos. The people couldn't control their rage and on that day an undying hatred for the Space Marines was founded, and the NBU found it now had the undying loyalty of every single man wowan and child on Mogilev. Trotskys son took over the NBU, but Trotsky II was quite cunning. Rather than continuing his protests in th eopen he took the whole operation underground. People were told to pretend that all was well and to continue working for the emperor in the factories of Mogilev. After a while the Space Mariens were called away again as they believed that any unrest had been utterly crushed. Trotsky II felt an undying hate for the emperor and all he stood for whislt he also retained that Chaos were incorrect as well. Mogilev was caught between a rock and a hard place when it came to allies. In the end Trotsky II decided an army was needed and a run of profiteering would help the planet regain its power. After all, who will notice if a few lasguns go missing from the factory floor....or a shipment of flak armour.....or a baneblade or two.... >

Thats my wall of text for lore
my army will consist of 20 shock troopers and 30conscripts in a platoon, 1 command squad per 50 men and per command sqaud 1 tank (will vary tank selection depending on what i need) I will keep following this system until i have emmased a big enough army worthy of a baneblade whereupon i shall purchase a baneblade and make it the pride of my army.

My colour scheme will be (i struggle exactly with colours here so any ideas just say) my troopers will look like they're fresh from the factories with workers overall jumpsuits, but brand new shiny armour (armour will b red though) for my tanks I want to paint them different colours as though they were intended to go to different chapters but they will all have stuff crossed out in red and look generally vandilised by my little blokes. All leaders and so on and so forth will have rather ragtag and dirty lookin clothes and equipment as they are not really a proffesional uniformed fighting force.

Its a promising start, but would the imperium so easily forget an entire world? surely one person on the world would snitch, or some people may not agree with the plans by Trotsky. I also think that the all men are equal may not work too well in IG lists, perhaps change it a little, and say that some are designated commanders or what not?

The imperium forgets about whole worlds all time. Sounds like a cool idea though

The Imperium forgets about worlds because of rounding errors in the Administratum, nevermind more major incidents.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

Yes the color scheme is doable. Right now I have my Guard in a random assortment of colors just because I can't make up my mind either.

Sounds like a really cool marxist/communist idea! You should do some sort of crossed hammer/sickle type deal for banners.
