So heres the WIP thread I promised. I know they aren't amazing quality, just tabletop really.

My list of what I have:

CCS
Guardsmen x10
Guardsmen x25
Guardsmen x30
Basilisk x2
Basilisk x1
Storm Troopers/Veterans x20
Penal Legion x10
Lemun Russ Demolisher

Green=Have and Painted
Yellow=Have, Unpainted
Red=Don't have

Haven't totally finished the skin or eyes.

One thing I'm doing for some of my penal legion is using GS to make bandannas on their faces or arms. I'll post a pic up once I pick some up.

I'll post of pics of my other stuff as I paint it.

It is true everybody has a little Ultramarine in them, they are the best.

Now on a more serious note those are some cool looking gaurds.

Haha, I didn't base them off the Ultramarines. They are based off some police like colors.

Penal Legion test model is being painted.

nice scheme, but they lack equipment. Without backpacks, granades, knifes, pouches, and the like, guardsmen look kinda... comical.

Glad to see that the models I traded are going to good use

When do you think we'll be able to see a tank painted up to check out your armor scheme?

Yes, thank you.

And, not sure, I'm focusing on my infantry right now, and I need to pick up some more primer, so possibly sunday.

Yup that is the scheme I am starting on now (1k points). I'll get a project log up and running at some point for it. I arrived at the scheme by having an unused can of uniform grey army painter spray which I use to speed things up, then since I do not have any models with blue as a key colour I used that, and I used the foundation (mordian) blue as it paints on most easily and is easy to highlight.
