I'm currently collecting an Armoured Car Squadron from the free pdf, as my interest in WWII is primarily due to my Grandfather's role in the Manitoba Dragoons. This is all fine and dandy for friendly game, but I'd like to partake in tournaments at some point in the future, and I'd like to have a tournament force that is viable and possibly less mentally linked to my Grandfather. Is the Armoured Car Squadron a viable tournament org chart, or would people suggest another one from the 4trth Canadian list?

Thanks,
-John

I've not played it myself but an older issue of wargames illustrated featured an armoured car list which was described as rather difficult to use against many forces compared to a fully mixed arms tank or infantry centred late war army, mainly due to a relative lack of tactical flexibility.

I had a feeling that would be the answer. I'll look at an alternate list for tourneys, like the rifle or armoured company from the briefing. Thanks.
