I've just started getting back in to lotrs and have desided to go for Gondor, I found this army list in Legions of Middle Earth and wonderd if any one could sergest any improvments now or in the future a it is olny 500pts

Damrod 20
Madril 55
3 Citadel Gaurd With spears 27
8 Rangers of Gondor 64
2 Warriors of Minas Tirith with banner 64
16 Warriors of Minas Tirith with shield and spear 144
6 Warriors of Minas Tirith with shield 48

Well, in my experience, rangers are good archers that hit good and well, not hard with strength 2, but hey, they DO hit.
So I should add more rangers.

I dont have any extra advice for your infantery, but Knights of Dol Amroth are the ultimate cavalry you can have, so you best include them.

About your heroes, Faramir is okay, but add Aragorn with that special whom sword forgot its name o.0
If you think Aragorn is too expensive, Boromir is good too.

Hey mate, your list looks good but it might need some tweaking. I think replacing Farmir with Boromir would be a good option (without the flag) because of his 6 might which really comes in useful. You can ditch the citadel guards for they aren't that good in SBG and only difference is 1 more courage i think. Get a few more rangers for they are rather handy for taking out a few people, and are reasnoable at close up. In my opinion I wouldn't normally take banners for they are expensive and don't do a great deal.

Horses are an option as someone said and if so it's best to get a mounted hero up there. That is because once you've led the charge and are in normal combat things can get a little... .. tricky without some muscle.

swap some of the shieldsmen for more rangers and give faramir a horse .
