I was peeking around at some threads, and if you go to the second page of this thread here, tou get a virus blocking message on Google Chrome. Is this a bug, or was dakka possibly infected?

It's more than likely an image that google chrome thinks is bad. I didn't get any errors in Firefox, but I run Linux so I don't get Viruses.

Any more info from the Chrome Blocker thing?

Thats the problem I thought then.

Someone is linking an Image from xmages, which itself is flagged as infected. So it's not Dakka, it's a link or image.

yup, what gwar said. Dakka is very safe, it is generally only links to third party image and file hosts that you need to worry about here.

Yes, my computer gave me the same message in Google Chrome. However, when I ran it in Firefox I got nothing.

Question: Why does it give me an error message?

Answer: Google Chrome is a hypochondriac.

Solution: Use Firefox(never Explorer, Explorer= Daemonspawn).

I gotta say, I love surfing Dakka on google chrome on my netbook. Internet explorer makes load times much longer (everywhere on the net). Haven't used firefox on it yet...
